At McDonald Honey, we are a family-owned beekeeping business that has been part of the Castlemaine community for six generations. Today, we manage over 2,000 beehives, moving them throughout Victoria to follow the flowering of a wide range of honey varieties.

All our honey is extracted, processed, and packaged right here on our small farm in Castlemaine. We produce it using a simple, natural, age-old beekeeping process, combined with the rigour of a modern HACCP Quality Assurance program.

We take pride in offering native, single-origin honey varieties for small and medium-sized sales. In Castlemaine and the surrounding towns, you can find our honey in many stores under the "Castlemaine Honey" label.
